Xbox 360 Products Suck and so does Halo 3’s Ranking System

I was just playing some Lone Wolves. Something I rarely ever do, seeing how it’s essentially based on kill stealing. I have a 40 in Doubles and Team Slayer and thought it was about time to get my 37 in LW to a 40. As I go to play LW, my Halo 3 special edition controller ($124.99 on eBay) falls off of my 360, which is about 4 feet or so off the ground, and it lands right on the left bumper. It breaks. The side of the controller is cracked and the button is jammed. I find myself constantly jumping in Halo 3 and am forced to quit the game. Preoccupation and Work to Come

It’s been a while since I last wrote on this blog; much longer than I would like. I haven’t been doing much work lately in terms of web development. Halo 3’s Team SWAT weekend is rolling out tomorrow, and I’ll definitely want to try that. I also picked up World of Warcraft a few days ago, and am spending a lot of time grinding my human rogue. Adventures at Medieval Times

For a very short March Break vacation, my mom, Perry, Calvin, Carter, and myself took a trip to Medieval Times in Toronto. The concept is that it’s essentially what they call a “window in time,” you are inside a “castle” (read: Exhibition Place) and watch knights go at each other with swords and flails, while eating chicken and soup with no utensils. Hit the jump to hear about real-life stuff, with nothing remotely interesting. Continue reading »

Check this out!

I started working on a local system to play videos; something like Youtube or Viddler, but on this site, and private. I’ll use it for gaming/hat-wearing montages, and stuff like that. Continue reading »
